The Jarmakani family traces its tradition to al Jarmaq in the Galilee, through southern Lebanon and Jabal al Druze, to Salkhad, Orman, Ain Zhalta and Tripoli. The Nigerian branch was established in 1949 by Nassar Jarmakani.
